Quick post.
I was just cleaning up from making dinner when I noticed that the sun had broken through the clouds and was just amazing. I was smart enough to have my apartment's deck face the west, because I knew how beautiful my evenings would be when I returned from work come summertime. Anyway, as I stood outside smiling at the sun, I noticed in the backyard of one of the row of homes to the south that there was a man smoking on his deck. What made me laugh out loud was the fact that there was a child looking out through the sliding glass door at this man. The child had apparently learned how to turn the porch light on and off, and was showing off this new found talent to the man. The man showed no interest for a moment and then suddenly turned around "boogieman" style and hobbled (because everyone knows that is how boogiemen walk, which could best be described as Marlon Brando chasing his grandson in the tomato garden in GF1) towards the house. When the man got close to the door, the child ran away, obviously hysterical. The smiling man turned, and walked back out to the edge of the deck.
...within a just a moment the porch light began to flicker again.
